I asked to see the Consultant following recommendation after I had lost the sight in one eye.
I was seen for an hour while every conceivable test was performed to assess the problem with great patience and total professionalism. A hospital referral was made which quite literally resulted in the saving of my life.

Eighteen weeks after major surgery I look forward to returning for a new eye test and hopefully a new pair of glasses rejoicing that I have now regained sight in the problem eye.
The hour's journey each way is insignificant when comparing service that I have received elsewhere.

I would like to thank Allister and Simpson Opticians, of Neston, for their extremely thorough and friendly service. I had mostly used high street chains in the past but found them to be too hurried and impersonal by comparison. The optician at J.A. Allister was very helpful during my eye test and explained carefully how my eyes had changed.

The friendly assistant who then helped me to choose my frames was very knowledgeable, showed me many designs and gave me excellent advice before I made a decision. As a result I would like to highly recommend the whole service. Thank you again.
